Join the Team

staff_smilingThank you for your interest in joining the Marin Ranch Camp team! We hire only the best camp counselors and hold them to very high expectations. We are looking for caring, enthusiastic staff who will uphold our core values of Friendship, Adventure, Community, Tradition & Safety. All counselors must be college-aged or older. Some of our existing counselors and leadership team members hold positions at Camp Doodles, our partner day camp. Leading a group through daily adventures is only the beginning. Our counselors specialize in forming meaningful relationships with campers, encouraging them to step outside of their comfort zone, taking great care of each child both physically and emotionally and ensuring that each child creates wonderful memories of camp. While this is no easy task, our dedicated team of directors trains and mentors our team to achieve their potential. A season of Marin Ranch Camp begins no earlier than 3 days prior to the first day of camp, and ends no later than 1 day after the end of the final session (usually a 2-week block in total). Our staff have been known to come from the Los Angeles area, Colorado and Oregon, in addition to Bay Area locals. Team members with prior camp experience are highly encouraged to apply. Marin Ranch Camp usually takes place after the end of other residential camps' seasons. Most team members join us after their initial summer camp job ends and before they head back to college, making MRC a great capstone to a great summer! Hiring begins in late January. To receive updates, just email us and let us know you're interested!
